Colorado Photographer Ashlee Bratton is a professional photographer, freelance writer, and public speaker with a bachelor’s degree in speech communication and master’s degree in business administration from the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Her mission is to provide a little sass and spice to her world, using her lens to provide real pictures for real people.

“Real Pictures. Real People.”

Founding Ashography Event & Portrait Photography in 2009 as a bucket list item to truly pursue photography, she stepped out with camera in hand on her photography dreams and hasn't looked back. Along with completing 29 of the 30 things on her 30×30 list, her photography contributions include working with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, photographing special needs students, specializing in author bio portraits, and having the honor of photographing over 100+ weddings and elopements in Southern Colorado.

Trading her camera for a pen, her professional writing contributions include authoring the book "Life Before The Lottery: Living Beyond the Bucket," along with numerous publications such as Vail’s EAT magazine, creating a 56 page Visitor Guide for a mountain ski town, blogging and guest blogging, being featured in multiple newspapers and e-zines, and various other projects. Currently, she keeps her camera in hand in Southern Colorado, is a complete and total foodie, and takes plane rides for fun. She likes things that go.
